Evaluation of Blog

¡Hi! I really enjoyed writing on my blogs, I felt nervous at the beginning but week by week I improved my writing or almost that I felt. It was funny when I had to search old photos and remember stories to write about or other times when I shared photos of my pets that I love. I liked too when I read my classmates blogs and discover some things that I didn’t know about them and better, I had the chance to comment that. I think, that I like to write about everything, sometimes becomes hard because we have a lot of other subjects to study and we cannot focus properly on English. Everybody has some good story to tell, I would like to write about some free topic, maybe you can motivate yourself to write more words and improve your vocabulary, grammar, Etc. Motivation is all you need to get a significant learning and realize a good job. The experience with this subject has been nice, personally I haven’t had class of language (English) since 2014, so, I think I’m doing good. If I pass this subject I’m going to miss this class, but not at all, on my career we have a lot of English Papers to read and study.

Books

One of my favorite books is “Drácula” from Bram Stoker, everyone knows that “Drácula” is a vampire and “Van Helsing” his enemy, but, in this book you have the original story about them. I read it about 7 seven years ago at school just one time because, it has a lot of pages and I prefer to read other stories than repeat the same. The story is fabulous, it has so much mystery that makes you feel inside the book, contains terror too, so you have to imagine a lot of disgusting things, well, if you like blood and that stuff you will have not troubles. 

Another book that I want to talk, well, more than a book, is the saga of “The Hunger Games” from Suzanne Collins, this books are very easy to read, it’s a mixture between science fiction and suspense, maybe you saw the movies (because in his moment were very popular) but the books are so much better, they have more details about the characters and facts. The books are larger but, how I said, are easy to read so you can advance faster and enjoy it a lot.

My Favorite Subject

I think that one of my favorites subjects right now is “Histology” because the teacher is good and is cool to see what are you made of. You have to study a lot of information and memorize different names, but during the practice is getting easier to learning, also, you have to recognize a variety of tissues from different parts of the body, so, you have to have “good eye” when you work with the microscope, in the future this is going to be very important for to discover new diseases and find what its killing my patient. In this subject we have quiz all the weeks so we have to be constantly studying, for other way It’s exhausting to study everyday (because we have more quiz and test from other subjects), anyway it’s a subject that I understand so that motivates me a little. The other subjects are not just suffering, It’s cool to learn new things about human body and animals, everything is connected somehow, so, you realize that and begin to see the world with another perspective and opinion.

Network Contacts

I used to visit a lot www.linkedin.com when I was a soccer player. In this website you can contact a lot of professional people like on “Facebook” but for business or services purposes. So, I used to contact people from everywhere for a Soccer Club, many times I talked with people in others countries but I didn't have the money to travel. Now, I have to change my profile to "Vet", but that I’m going to do it when I finish my career. Many people don’t know about this website but I think it’s a great tool for contact people and have many opportunities of jobs in different areas, I think that is exciting to look for different jobs, one opportunity can be better than the last, so, you have to choose wisely. I recommend this website to all of my friends because have a network of contact is very important for a professional career, if you know a lot of people who works with together, better for you, and more if this people is your friend or known.

                             

My Pets

On Christmas

I used to have 2 dogs and 1 cat. “Cali” passed away the last summer at the age of 4 and a half, he was a Golden Retriever the most intelligent dog that you could ever meet. The veterinarians said that he died for a type of cancer but, truly, nobody knew what exactly he had. This dog was essential in my life and I remember every time when I feel tired because of the university. My other dog is “Nala” (daughter of Cali) she has 3 years old and is very intelligent like Cali, but she has so much energy that sometimes she forgets what she is doing, she always wants love, she never gets bored of being stroked. My Cat’s name is “Kitty Miau” (very creative I know), my family never put in agreement so, she kept the name “Kitty” and then, we agree the “Miau” like her last name because she says “Miau” a lot. We rescued her 2 years ago in the streets when she was a little kitten. I’m usually annoying her, when she gets upset, she makes a hilarious sound like “Giogiogigogio”. Both of my pets are charming, they are my princess in her own ways.

The Waterfall Fall

This day started on past summer when my friends and I assisted regular to a box of CrossFit, it was a typical morning of training until some friend told us that he heard of a place where you can bath (a little lagoon) and spend time there. That was a “secret” site far in Machalí, so the whole group gets a friend car. First, we stop for provisions (the voyage was long) and then we continued on the trip. When we arrived, immediately all of us discovered that the lagoon has a waterfall, the first thing that everybody says was “We have to jump from there”. I don’t remember precisely the altitude of the fall, but it was a big one. I was the first one to climb it, that was the moment when a friend took me that picture. I like that place because I was with my very good friends, so, it’s a happy remember for me.

My Favorite Place

I don’t have a favorite place in the world, but there are many that have a common thing. That thing is a soccer pitch, I love being in one. Because, it is a place where I can be myself, feel comfortable, spend all my  energy and lose the sense of time. I feel comfortable, because I love playing soccer since I am a child. My dad used to take me to play soccer every time that he could, so I am full of good memories around a soccer pitch. In the other side, now a days life is full of chores, work and responsibilities. So I use soccer to forget all those things, using all my energy and take the nervous out of my body. The last thing that being in a soccer pitch makes me feel, is to lose the sense of time. That is because I am so happy playing soccer, that I just enjoy the game and don’t think in anything else. So in conclusion, I don’t have one place that is my favorite, but many places that have one thing in common and that is a soccer pitch, where I can be myself and fell fulfilled.

My Favorite Piece of Technology

My Laptop (I like Star Wars)

It's hard for me choose my favorite gadget because I like many. I will talk about my Laptop, there I can do many things, like: study, get organized, play "LOL", watch a movie, etc... This year my father gift me my laptop for start my university studies. It's helpful for me. I use my smartphone more than my laptop because I can't always carry it with me, especially because I travel a lot. I like this gadget because you have infinity options to do, sometimes I imagine some app or program for create, but when I navigate on Google I found that it’s already made it. I think that my life will not change so much (like “lifestyle”) if I lose my laptop, but, it will be harder and slower do some things like I do now, so I prefer to not lose it.

¿Why I chose my career?

¿What are you going to do for a living? It’s a question that many people do, especially your relatives. Everybody have different interest like earning a lot of money, travel, make your own company, treat with disabled people, etc… My first choice was to be a professional soccer player because it was something that I always want to do since I have memory, but when you are growing up, you realized that you are choosing a

career for the rest of your life where you have to live for that and organize your time around your profession. So, I choose Industrial Engineering when I started the “Preu”, in that career you can do many different things and improve it, so that idea sounded good for me. The time near the “PSU” my dog “Cali” felt sick badly, we carried him to a veterinary in Rancagua and there he got better a little with a lot of medicaments. He was fine with pills but stills nobody knew what he had. So, we travel to Santiago to the veterinarian hospital in Bilbao (from U.Ch.), there, the attention was very good but still they could not say what he had. The time pass and he finally died, that made me feel so impotence and I figured out that I really love animals enough to help them and make my own business with that. Now, in the university I feel that the time is running so fast, between studying (i love my classes), playing soccer, visiting my friends, I’m doing what I want! That makes me very happy. And well, when I’m tired I always remember my dog, so, that gives me all the strength that I need! 

Autobiography

Since I have memory, I have practiced soccer, not formally, but playing in the streets or the pitch near my house, it's something that I always wanted to do, shooting balls everywhere or doing some juggles. 

 

When I changed to my last school at the age of 10, my train begun formally with a great group and I started toy improve my game. At the begging, I had troubles with my asthma, but I get over when I had to leave the inhaler, so, I became stronger. Until my age of 16, I was never interested on my school degrades, I just wanted to play soccer, the only condition that my mom request was to keep a minimum degrade of six but I didn’t have trouble with that, in fact I always keep that degree and better. That year I took the decision to get part of a professional soccer team in Rancagua (I was born there), O’Higgins. Those trains were of High-performance, the coach prepared you for being a pro. I was going to O’Higgins for 3 years, after, I was part of other teams trying to do the career. But then I realized, 
that, it’s a hard profession when you have to live for and with a ball in a short time, its lonely, and sometimes very toxic so I leave it. At my age of 20 I started to do a pre-university, I wanted to be an engineer. That year I worked in the mornings and attended to P.D.V in evening, it was a hard year. Finally, I took the decision of been a veterinarian for some important reason. When I made the decision of leaving the soccer behind, I was afraid of not having time to play. But now, I realized that if I want I could play every day! And I’m part of the University Team!

I choose this photo because the lion is one of the mightiest feline on the earth, but in the picture, he looks like a little cat enjoying the wind throught his hair. His face seems too relax like finishing a hard day of work... But everybody knows that the female lions are the real hunters!
